This board got my confidence back up to return to surfing as an older guy now. It gives me a needed edge in paddling, catching waves and stability. I was also very surprised that I'm able to dip it underneath waves with all of that flotation, which would usually be my concern to avoid something this large unless it were a tiny day.
The board is also absolutely beautiful. After ordering, it arrived two days later and it was flawless. If I were to have customized it, the only change I would've made was leaving out the quad skeg configuration option as I prefer thrusters, but hey that's me and the option is always there.
Last comment is on the color which is bold. Give it some deep thought and be gusty and proud in the end if you go for it. Many of us are not looking for anything flashy, just a plain white board would be ok. I saw the 7'0 blue one in a shop, and I couldn't settle on it right away, but it began to grow on me days later. I took it up a notch, knowing I really wanted the 7'6 which only comes in bright red. I committed to it finally with excitement, just like committing to taking the drop on a sizeable wave - no regrets, very happy!
